It was a big house for a vacation house, probably bigger than ours, and the layout was really nice.
It had 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was really cool!
In the back of the house, there was a screen porch, and it faced the water. It was beautiful!
They had a pier/ boathouse in the back, and it was a perfect place to fish. The only thing was, we forgot fishing poles! I love to fish, so as you can imagine, I was pretty disappointed.
But, Saturday morning, my mom and dad gave me a fishing pole of my own! I've never had my own before! I also got a tackle box, with all kinds of hooks, and a thing to string fish on, ( I can't remember the name for it !) and sinkers and floats and all sorts of stuff!
Oh, and a really neat thing was that there were crab-traps hanging off the pier, and we cooked them and ate them with shrimp, potatoes, and corn on the cob! Yum!
All the fish my dad and I caught were too small even though we fished 2 days.
I learned how to cast well though!
It was the best vacation ever!
