Books I've read recently......

Here's a list of books I've read so far in the month of May.

A Rift in Time by Michael Phillips
Very interesting!!!!!!!!!  I liked it a lot! It's about an archaeologist named Adam Livingstone who finds Noah's Ark, and the story of how he becomes a Christian afterwards. It talks a lot about the Scottish Rite, a part of Free Masonry, and how it relates to some very unusual things. Also about what they call the Oval Eden Theory. It's similar to the National Treasure movies, but it was written before they came out. Totally awesome book! I don't agree with all of his theology, but still REALLY good! Fiction.

Hidden in Time by Michael Phillips
The sequel to A Rift in Time. Just as good!!
The library had a sale a couple of weeks ago, and I bought it! (Still have it checked out from te library too, so I hope I don't get them confused!!) Fiction

A New Song by Jan Karon Very good!!! My favorite of the Mitford books beside the first one!! I'd read it before, but 'twas worth reading again!

Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte All I can say is YUCK. A too dramatic story in my opinion. But I'm not much for those kind of books. Especially the kind with tragic endings. Why would a person want to write a story about something like that?!!!! It's worse than Romeo and Juliet, I think. I like happy endings! Fiction

The Sunroom by Beverly Lewis  Good, but sad. Fiction

Life with Father by Clarence Day FUNNY!!!!!!!!!! I like this book a lot! I laughed quite a bit during this one! Non-fiction

The Dark Tower and Other Short Stories by C.S. Lewis Fascinating!!! The only problem was that this story was left unfinished, and parts of the manuscript was missing, so when they found it after he died they said readers had to make their own conclusions of what happened.  Still interesting, but frustrating!!! Fiction

Tess of the d'Ubervilles by Thomas Hardy Ick!!!!!! I didn't like this one!!!!!! It was required though, on some list that my mom has. I DON'T recommend it!!!! Fiction

That's all I've read so far!!! ( Some of them were 5-600 pages long.)
